Welcome to MOONday, a sacred was to start your week!Reclaim Mondays as your own, make Monday your favorite day of the week! MOONdays are all about you! Just as you start each day with self-care, reflection, meditation, intention and flow - start your week the same way. You will find greater ease, more synchronicities and feel better putting yourself first. Monday gets its name from the Anglo-Saxon word "Mondandaeg" which translates to "The Moon's Day." The second day of the week in Nordic cultures was devoted to worshipping the goddess of the moon, who guides us each month with her cyclical nature. Prioritize Being over Doing.Celebrating MOONday is a practice of presence, flow and doing less. It will reconnect you to your intuition by prioritizing simply Being over finding 'productive' or 'responsible' things to Do. You will learn to listen to your intuition and follow the next best step instead of knowing the full plan. This practice will create more trust in allowing your manifestations to unfold without knowing exactly How or When. Start your MOONday with your usual morning routine - this will provide structure and grounding. Once you’re aligned and vibing high, then feel what direction you’re drawn. It may not make sense, it may not be practical, it may feel like you’re just 'puttering around’ - that is exactly why you're dedicating a whole day to trusting the non-linear flow of inspiration. This day is dedicated to reconnecting to intuition and dropping the weight of all ‘shoulds.’ You will start to feel more energetic, free from external expectations, as you build comfort with this self-care practice. Can't take off Mondays?Follow the Wild Power 1% Rule and give yourself 1% of what you’d ideally love. This transforms, ‘I only had time for a 5 minute guided meditation before the kids needed me,’ into ‘I got 5 minutes of me time before my day started, yay!’ Get intentional. Someone amazing in The Manifesting with the Moon Course created a Work Intention where he intended for more control over his time. He also has a Self-Care Intention to grow more comfortable prioritizing himself. These two intentions created a level of flexibility in his work schedule that he never imagined possible, he now blocks off his calendar until 10am every Monday for his MOONday! He could not imagine this level of flexibility and control over his time at work when he began the course, woo! The purpose of intention-setting is to take ‘what currently IS’ and begin to align with what you would desire instead. You can’t control HOW or WHEN intentions manifest - your job is to clear the resistance and align - but when it happens, it is incredible to celebrate! Every morning, begin your day with self-care, reflection and intention. Every week, reclaim Mondays as your day to flow. Every month, rest and reflect as you bleed or with the New Moon. Every year, slow down around the Winter Solstice. Reconnecting to and remember that you are nature is essential to living an abundant, intentional life in the flow. MOONdays are all about flow. As a cyclical being, one with the flow of nature, you can follow the outer (Lunar and Seasonal) rhythms. In your bleeding years, you can align with the inner wisdom of your Menstrual Cycle. The extent to which you can rest in your Menstrual Phase dictates your energy for the rest of your Menstrual Cycle. The intention and alignment that you start each day and week with dictates how everything else will flow. |
